My name is David Jonas Derus. After I graduated from UCLA I considered a vocation in the clergy. I spent years working with students and refugees stateside and abroad. Ultimately I was drawn back home to Los Angeles. I wanted to focus on writing. This blog is a manifestation of my passion. I have been a personal blogger for over seven years at Eternal focusing on theology, politics, and every day life. I have also written for Godwerks.com.
